Mum and Dad

http://www.skrochester.zoomshare.com/1.shtml/August%202007/pages/6

It seams most weekends Mum and Dad go off to exotic locations, without us. You can see here Dad putting up the tent, playing the part of the middle class British tourist visiting a different part of the countryside. This week they saw Rochester castle (see pictures) and met relatives you would not normally relate to unless you had spent a lot of time resurching on the internet.

Jonny, your analysis is largely correct. Most weekends we go somewhere, but camping is only for summer. Britain has a lot of places, and they're all interesting in different ways, so they're all a bit exotic. Australia doesn't have as many places--each town is much like any other, and they're all spread out too thinly. You have to go a long way to find a different one. But in England each place has a history that goes back hundreds of years--each has a famous person that lived there, and old houses that have seen 20 generations of people. And they're only a couple of miles apart!

There was once a lady that had an operation, and when she came good she blogged about it and thanked everyone for their support. But she forgot to mention her mother. But parents don't read blogs, right?

Yes probably. Appart from my great great great great great great grandfather marrying a common girl, and their grandchildren becoming convicts and all that, we are actually upper class.
