Jesus V8 ute
Andrew Fisher races in the V8 Ute series. The V8 utes is a national racecar series that have been going for a few years. Typicaly, they run as a supporting race at the same time and place as the V8 Supercars. Fisher was going to go with a fish sticker on the back window, but ended up going all the way with "Jesus" across the car. For those not familiar with motorsport, it costs alot of money. And alot of money changes hands regarding the stickers on a racecar. What are your thoughts? Can Christians do motorsport, and where should the money come from?

If we can't be a part of it, we shouldn't be watching it. But why would we get legalistic?
Is there a difference between motorsport and all the other types of sport? If it's something that can be enjoyed responsibly, then it's fine in my opinion.
I suppose the obvious issue is money and where it comes from, which you pointed out. I'm not sure about that, you'd have to look into it.
You could even see it as a possible ministry area.

I've wondered about that. Participating in motorsport uses a heap of money that could perhaps be put to better use. And yet, Jesus cares about rich, motorsport people and how else to get to know them if you don't do it too? So I reckon it's fine, as long as one keeps an eye on motives.
I guess there's a temptation to be greedy and to worship your possessions and to think of your worth in terms of what you have.
