My Boss

We were short a mechanic at work so my boss had to don the overalls and use some tools. Still, it didn't keep him off the phone. He was probably chatting to someone about his old Porsche 912.

Jonny boy

Here is a photo of me circa 1978. I am servicing a tricycle at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Bexley. The trike would have belonged to Mum or Auntie Jenny at one time. Grandpa had restored it with a paint brush. I had a similar trike back at home so I knew what I was doing.


Fast forward to 2007 and the vehicles I have serviced this week are just as exotic. Amoung them are Porsche 928, Mercedes (various models), and new HiAce Commuter.

Too much work. My hands are cracked and sore. The mornings and afternoons are very cold these days.
